Empowering girls through improving body confidence. WAGGGS (World Association of Girl Guides & Girl Scouts), Dove and Girl Guides Australia have worked hard to develop a program that is girl-led, fun and relevant to the needs of girls and young women.
The “Free Being Me” has been written especially for the age groups of our units. It is an educational program that engages with exploring ideas about body confidence & beauty that will affect them as they grow up. Free Being Me shows participants that there isn’t just one way to be beautiful & that what is inside them matters the most.
Please take a moment to read the attached letter about this program.
Just a reminder there is a sausage sizzle on tomorrow at Chelsea Woolworths to raise money for the two senior guides who are attending Camp Bunya (Guide Camp in Queensland in 100 days time!)
