Dear Parents

We need your help next week – Tuesday 30th April for Juniors, Gumnuts & Pre-Rangers

Gumnuts & Juniors – We are doing Mothers Day Craft & need a few extra set of hands.

Pre-Rangers (12+ guides) – I need someone to help sew happy pants please. With sewing machine or overlocker.

Juniors we need 2-3 parents helpers with current Working With Children Check

Gumnuts we need 2 parents helpers with current Working With Children Check

(if you don’t have one, we can arrange for one through Guides Vic at no charge)

Unfortunately I won’t be at guides on Tuesday so I ask if you can please assist as a few more helping hands makes our program fun, exciting & enjoyable.

We are doing Christmas Craft tonight & making Christmas Card next week.

If you could assist with either weeks, we would be forever grateful.

We are “hot glueing” tonight…………

Christmas Card Making next week if you are creative……………

I already have 2 parent helpers tonight, but I think a 3rd pair of adult hands would be greatly appreciated & I have no helpers for next week…….

Remember, working with children checks need to be sighted, or better still you can register as a unit volunteer with Carrum Girl Guides at http://www.guidesvic.org.au

Junior Program for Term 4 2018

Hi All,

Junior Guides Term 4 2018 Program is available here

I have allocated a few weeks to have parent helpers during the night.

If you can help, please comment here or email/text me.

If you wish to help, you must let me know ahead of time as all parents who help must be registered (no charge – just technical stuff) with Guides Vic & have Working With Children Check plus Child Safe updates.

We are still planning – so this might change slightly……..

Sleepover @ Hall – 28/29th July 2018

Sleepover @ Hall – Pizza & Movie Night

When: 28th July 3:00pm to 29th July 10:00am

Where: at hall

Cost: $10 per person (includes dinner & breakfast)

RSVP: by no later than 17th July

(you can rsvp via email as soon as you like & direct deposit money or pay first week back next term) 

Forms have been sent via Girl Guides Victoria website.

Seniors will be sleeping outside in tents, Juniors & Gumnuts (if you want to attend) will be sleeping inside the hall. ‘

Watch out soon for a post about movie & pizza selection. We pride ourselves at Carrum Girl Guides to ensure that the girls have had as much input into our events as we can. We will list PG & G rated movies here for you to select your choice. The one with the most votes will be played at our sleepover.

We also will ask for your pizza selection, so that we can make sure all dietary requirements are covered.
