Last night we started our Enviro Badge. Juniors & Gumnuts to complete 5 challenges for the badge. One from Awareness, Action, Service & Impact plus one extra. At guides last night, many guides completed two challenges (Impact – Recycling Game & Action – Story of the Earth).
Next week at guides, will make badges for the guides to wear stating to “Refuse plastics that escape as litter (e.g. straws, takeaway cups, utensils, balloons)”

We are cooking on open fires Tuesday night
Please bring one whole unpeeled orange please. We are making orange cakes on fire.
Please make sure all guides have warm clothes on & all hair tied back.
We need some extra parent helpers please.
This week we are going to try and spend a little bit of time outside – please wear really warm clothes and bring a torch if you have one.
Thanks
Blossom
All parents who help at guides (either once off or on a regular basis) need to be associated members of the Girl Guide Association of Victoria. Associated members have no fees, just registered with Guides Victoria with Working With Children & Police Checks & any other qualifications such as first aid, CPR etc on record.
Please check with Bickie on Tuesday night to see if you are already registered or grab a form if you need to register. Free to register as an associate member.
