Hi Gumnuts- 

Next week is book week! 

If you would like to wear your book week costume or if you would like to bring along your favourite story book to share- we would love to see them.  Pyjamas or Guide uniforms are also fine.  Whatever is easiest. 

If you want to, you could also bring a comfy cushion to sit on and/or a soft toy to cuddle while we read some stories.

Ooooh – Guides is back tomorrow, how exciting!! 

If any Gumnuts missed out on running a game last term, can you please think of one you would like to teach us?  I’m hoping that it’s not going to be too cold and wet to have a little bit of time outside for some active  games too.

Be A Guide For A Day, Gumnuts

Hope you are all having a wonderful holidays and working on some challenges! 

All Gumnuts (even 5 year olds) are welcome to sign up for the ‘Be a Guide for a Day’ next week. There will be lots of leaders and older Girl Guides there to help you have an awesome time- and I will be there in the afternoon to see what you’ve been doing!

Go plastic free in July! 


Juniors made a pledge at guides to reduce, reuse & recycle ♻️. Say no to single use plastic like straws, plastic bags & plastic cups! They made badges to wear & one for a friend to wear. Spread the word & go plastic Free!. Part of the EnviroGuide Badge 2017 (to be sewn on back of sash). 

 

Tuesday 27th June – Xtreme Air

Last Night of Term 2 we are going to Xtreme Air in Keysborough (All Guides plus bring a friend or sibling)

When: Tuesday 27th June

Time: 6-8pm (Please arrive at 5:45pm to complete Xtreme Air paperwork)

Cost: $20 per person (to be paid on night directly to Xtreme Air)

BRING A FRIEND OR SIBLING.

Please fill in the attached Girl Guide Permission Form for all guides attending & bring to event, plus remember to have a parent sign Xtreme Air paperwork on the night).
