Sunflower Sleepover

Carrum & Mentone Guides having sleepover at hall Saturday 16th September. If you wish your daughter to attend, transfer $15 before Thursday, email carrumguides@outlook.com & attach permission forms. Thursday is last day to register due to catering.

Reminder forms & money to be returned by next week for the Sunflower Sleepover.

If your daughter is unsure about staying overnight, we encourage them to visit for the afternoon/dinner & movie then pickup between 9 & 10pm.

Remember, junior guides going up to senior guides (10 or 10 within first 3 months of 2018) need to bring along all items for sleeping outside in tents.

Mexican Night – Congratulations Sarah 

Awards (Junior BP, Gumnuts, Juniors, World Guiding

Congratulations to Sarah who took us to Mexico 🇲🇽 last night with a Mexican song, Mexican hat game involving chocolate & nachos! Yummy night! 

Sarah is working on her Junior BP & spent the whole night with juniors & Gumnuts!

We loved learning new games & songs from other countries especially Mexico where one of our world centres is!

Girl Guide Biscuits 🍪 

Biscuits

All Carrum Girl Guide Families are asked to take home some allocated biscuits on Tuesday night to sell to family, neighbours & friends or work colleagues. It will only be a few packets & we ask you to bring in the money before the end of term. 

I also need a parent to co-ordinate the biscuits, to take note of families taking & returning biscuits/money. If you are interested let me know by commenting here or on Tuesday at guides

Hi, we have been asked to sell Girl Guide Biscuits this Saturday at Carrum Downs Bunnings from 9-4. 

We would love to see Girl Guides selling the biscuits (remember it can be signed off for their action Guide badge!) 

Please comment below if you can attend a time slot:- 

No 1 – 9am to 11am (arrive 20 minutes earlier to assist setting up)

No 2 – 11am to 1pm 

No 3 – 1pm to 3pm 

No 4 – 2pm to 4pm (pack up as well) 

Minga can only be there from 9-2 & I am unable to attend due to another commitment. We need a parent/leader to stay from 2-4pm & pack up remaining gear to be returned to Guide hall following week.
