Hi everyone,
Term 3 is nearly here…… Here is the program for the juniors. I need parent helpers to assist us to make this program exciting. Follow the link & comment below if you can help. Remember to pass on your Working with Children Checks to me if possible (or if you need one, please let me know as I can assist)
Reminder that tonight we are celebrating Rose completing her JNR BP award.
All guides and families due at hall at 6:30pm
See you then😁
For my BP, I am looking for kind donations of dog food
Please bring your donations to the guide hall on the 18th or 25th of June.

WHY DONATE?
During these cold months, it is important to care for the homeless and also their little friends. So for the next two weeks I will be collecting donated tins/sachets of dog or cat food for the pets of homeless people. If you would like to donate any food, please bring them in to the guide hall and I will take them to an organization called Pets of The Homeless. Thank you very much for your support of pets in need.
Some of our preferred brands include Canidae, Black Hawk, Advance, Eukanuba, Meals For Mutts and Holistic Select.
Please note that for health and safety, food donated to us must be unopened and unexpired.
From Mikayla, Senior Guides
It was a bitterly cold night, and we were all so much relieved when there was a campfire laid outside. We congregated around the flickering tongues of orange flame, and the heat warmed our frigid hands.
To start, I ran the campfire as a challenge for my BP. We sang three different well-known songs; ‘There Ain’t no Flies on us’, ‘The Bumblebee Song’ and ‘Little Cottage in the Woods’. Everyone knew the words, and it was very much fun to laugh together while singing.
After the warm and comforting campfire, we remained outside, and Sierra took over with a challenge for her BP. It was an acting game, that made us reflect on the Girl Guide promise and law. We started out in patrols, and each had to create a short skit as fast as we could, for the other patrols to guess. Sierra did a great job running the activity, and I’m sure I speak on behalf of all the girl guides who participated when I say that it was very fun and well-organized.
That was our campfire night at Girl Guides, much fun and excitement had. It is always very enjoyable when girls run the evening.
my apologies, showtime performance is Sunday 25th August
