Sam & I are currently selling sausages at Hastings for a fundraiser (this is why we had to change the time to allow us to race back from Hastings).
No Guides Tuesday
SleepoverJust a reminder due to sleepover next weekend we have cancelled guides Tuesday night.
All sleepover forms can be emailed (making sure both sides are scanned) to Bickie on Tamara.rees@dtrservices.com.au.
If you cannot scan – send a photo of both sides or drop me an email to give me details. Or ask for my address to drop off.
Numbers for sleepover are needed before Wednesday so that catering & programming can commence.

Girl Guides Victoria @ Parliament House
Girl Guides VictoriaDaniel Andrews Labor Government today announced $457,000 funding boost for Girl Guides Victoria to increase engagement with young Victorian women, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Here is the information about the sleepover at the hall plus our August Action event. We will be running a “Walk-a-Thon” on the Sunday around the park behind the hall for the juniors & seniors will be venturing off further. Cost: $25 (includes all food) – RSVP by 8th September for catering purposes

you. The money we will raise will go to two places. Half of the money will go to a
Central Charity that all the Guides around Victoria will be fundraising for – in
2015 this charity is ROMAC. The other half of the money will go where ever
our Unit decides – start thinking……….
Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children (ROMAC)
ROMAC has been in operation for over 25 years. Assisted by many Australian and New Zealand surgeons who generously donate their time free for the treatment of our patients, this humanitarian program has provided over 350 children from more than 20 developing countries with urgent medical treatment that has given them new hope.

To provide medical treatment for children from developing countries in the form of life
saving and/or dignity restoring surgery not accessible to them in their home country.

Due to a double booking by the City of Kingston – we have had to move our sleepover till Saturday 19th September till Sunday 20th

Promise Cermony – Junior Guides
Juniors, Promise CeremonyHi Junior Guides!
Promise Ceremony Tuesday Night – full uniform from all junior guides (& gumnuts).
Junior Guides arrive at 6:15. Parents/Grandparents arrive at 6:45 & stay till 7:30.
Promise Cermony for 7 new junior guides!!! Then Hands Badge for them……. (Information was handed out at guides last week, or on our website for details).
If you are awaiting any uniform from guide shop – we now have all orders so available at beginning of night.
Tuesday night will be a busy night, any other badges or challenges will need to wait till the following week.
