This week we are starting our Bee Challenge in Gumnuts and Juniors. Snowy has got some great activities ready for us to do to learn about Bees.

We can’t wait to see your bee-coloured dress ups!

Hi, you are all invited (guides & parents) to our special ceremony on Tuesday at Girl Guides. 6:30-8:00pm at hall. Junior BP Presentation & Silver Endeavours are being presented. Reminder to remain COVID safe & celebrate our girl guides achievements.

We are going to be practising putting up lightweight tents.

We will be also having a formal Unit In Council with our newly elected positions. Please bring along an idea or a badge to work towards so we can plan out Term 2.

We are cooking outside on all different types of lightweight cooking stoves.
We will be cooking 2-minute noodles (not to be shared with others) & experimenting with all the types of stoves we have.

Tomorrow night we are learning about what Lego friends’ Mia likes to do.

If you would like to think of an animal that you are interested in, that would be great. If you could find out about where it lives and any interesting animal facts about your animal before you come to Guides, we would love to hear all about them.

World Thinking Day 2021 (Monday 22nd February 2021)

We are having a World Thinking Day night at guide tonight where all girl guides are to be involved. We will be running 1 unit meeting from 6:30-8:00pm.

Please bring along a gold coin for a donation towards the Thinking Day Fund.

PLEASE REMEMBER: –

Due to COVID restrictions manual sign in by parents is no longer required. All guides will be signed into the session by leaders via team app.

Unfortunately no parents/guardians are allowed within the grounds of the guide hall.

New guides will be required to contact leaders prior to attending session at hall for the purpose of contact tracing (no bring a friend with out prior arrangement).

Newsletters including important dates & events are sent out via email to all parents/guardians.

When available a copy for the newsletter will be posted on the notice board & shared on the team app’s page (details to follow on how to connect to app).

Please check app & blog sites regularly to keep up to date with what’s going on at girl guides.

Hi All, Due to the Victorian Lockdown, Girl Guides will not be on tonight (16th Feb 2021).
We hope to see you all next week (cross fingers).
We have been working hard behind the scenes during 2020 & 2021. We have decided that there will be no zoom tonight either (giving the leaders time to focus on family).
