This week we are starting our Bee Challenge in Gumnuts and Juniors. Snowy has got some great activities ready for us to do to learn about Bees.

Tomorrow night we are learning about what Lego friends’ Mia likes to do.

If you would like to think of an animal that you are interested in, that would be great. If you could find out about where it lives and any interesting animal facts about your animal before you come to Guides, we would love to hear all about them.

YOU ARE INVITED TO OUR END OF YEAR CAMPFIRE AT THE HALL We are having an outdoor campfire to say goodbye to 2020. This will be our last night for guides until the school term starts in 2021. We have had a blast on ZOOM but would love to see your faces for one night on Tuesday 8th December. Please book in to this event. This event will be COVID Safe & will follow strict guidelines. If the weather is looking not so good, we will advise by Google Classroom & Blog Site of cancellation. We will endeavour to give you 24 hours notice.

The backyard birdcount is on NOW (this week)

So jump on the website and find out how to participate – a great activity for the animal tracks badge.

Spend half an hour in the backyard and submit your findings to the website. There is an app to help you identify which birds you can see.

It’s a great night to go outside and see if you can see the Southern Cross in the night sky – there isn’t any clouds – but rug up – it’s cold outside!!

Hi Gumnuts – don’t forget to come dressed up for our princess night on Tuesday – only if you have something available, otherwise it doesn’t matter! I’ve emailed the invite – let me know if you don’t get it.
